While most of the original windows and frames were in pretty good condition, those installed as part of a later addition have not fared so well. We have had to cut away quite a bit of rotten timber and rebuild the frames in several areas.

Diyan has done a thorough job of cutting out defective timber and repairing these windows with pieces of hardwood and Repaircare Resins. The decorative render around the front door frame has been repaired to match the original profile.
Gerry and Nicholas replaced rotten window cills and repainted these windows with a bright green gloss from Sikkens.
Using Farrow & Ball String nr 11 on walls and White Tie nr 2002 on all woodwork including new shelving and built in cupboards.
