Wide and extensive cracks to plasterwork and cornicing in this Victorian end of terrace house in Canonbury. These will need repairing with plaster, Toupret fillers and scrim before we can line and hang wallpaper. This will probably extend the job by another week.
Work continues in Canonbury, repairing cracks and filling the stair string to wall joint. Cross lining progressing down the stairs and across another landing.

We started work this week on this 4 storey Victorian house in Canonbury. We are uncovering a large number of areas which require repair, re-plastering or replacement to get this lovely old house ready for paint and new wallpaper.
Woodwork dado panels, windows, architraving etc finished with Paint & Paper Plaster 1. The ceiling is also Plaster 1 matt emulsion. The Robert Kime Chou wallpaper looks very smart in this Highgate dining room. A lovely setting for a small family dinner.
We burnt off almost all of the old paint on this lovely Collins built house in Muswell Hill. Repairs to woodwork using Repaircare system resins. Two coats of Sikkens Rubbol primer applied. We will follow this with two coats of Sikkens Rubbol SB gloss.
