We started work on the house yesterday. There is quite a lot of decay in the window frames to be cut out and repaired with the Repaircare System. We probably will not open a tin of Sikkens paint for about two weeks while we burn off all of the old paint. Then cut and rout out all the defective timber, renew cills and thresholds and repair all of the window frames. B Murphy Joinery of Muswell Hill will renew most of the opening casements.
